The state of Kansas reported zero COVID-19 deaths since Wednesday.

This is the first time the state has reported no deaths since mid-July.

The state also decreased the overall amount of deaths due to COVID-19 from 4,816 on Wednesday to 4,812.

The state also reported 752 new COVID-19 cases since Wednesday and 32 hospitalizations.

The 752 new cases reported Friday also continue a downward trend of new cases.

The KDHE reported 81 people dying from COVID-19 during the past week — the lowest since a week in October.

Kansas has had a total of 295,861 COVID-19 cases, 9,387 hospitalizations and 4,812 deaths.

State health officials are reporting four more deaths linked to COVID-19 than they reported Friday. The Kansas death toll increased from 4,812 to 4,816.

Another 24 Kansans have been hospitalized with COVID-19 since Friday.

The state says 590 more Kansans have tested positive for the coronavirus since Wednesday. The total in Kansas, since the pandemic began, is 296,451.

As of this morning, 2 more Kansas deaths have been linked to COVID-19, bringing the state’s death toll to 4,837.

The state says another 39 Kansans have been hospitalized with COVID-19 since Monday. The KDHE does not track recoveries.

The number of coronavirus cases increased by 686, while 4,044 Kansans have tested negative in the past two days.

The KDHE reported 606 cases, five deaths and 46 hospitalizations on Friday, bringing the totals to 299,510, 4,842 and 9,604.

On Friday, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment reported 506 new COVID-19 cases, 10 deaths and 32 hospitalizations. The report brings the weekly total to 1,923 new COVID-19 cases and 49 deaths, which is 161 more cases and 31 more deaths than last week.

Kansas has 301,433 COVID-19 cases, 9,679 hospitalizations and 4,897 deaths.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday reported pandemic totals of 303,767 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases, 9,824 hospitalizations, 2,698 ICU admissions and 4,932 deaths. The increases since Monday were 540 new cases, 39 new hospitalizations, 10 new ICU admissions and five new deaths.

Kansas coronavirus: Another 2,000 cases, 8 more deaths

The number of coronavirus cases in Kansas jumped by 2,001 in two days time. That’s the second time this week the cases increased by more than 2,000.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) says eight more Kansas deaths have been linked to COVID-19 and there have been 68 new hospitalizations.
