Idaho health officials on Wednesday reported 1,140 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 26 new deaths, according to state and district data, with Ada County contributing half of the confirmed cases and more than one-third of the deaths.

The state also tallied 281 new probable cases, bringing the total reported cases for the day to 1,421.

In all, Idaho health officials have confirmed 111,644 infections statewide.

Health and Welfare reports that there have been 5,316 hospitalizations of people with COVID-19, 965 admissions to the ICU and 6,517 health care workers infected.

Idaho health officials reported 515 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 and four new COVID-19-related deaths Saturday, according to Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and health district data.

Statewide, Idaho reported 402 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 113 new probable cases.

To date, 1,357 Idahoans have died of COVID-19.

Health and Welfare reports that there have been 5,392 hospitalizations of people with COVID-19, 984 admissions to the ICU and 6,629 health care workers infected.

Idaho added 423 new cases to its total number of COVID-19 cases. 326 of those reported cases are confirmed and 97 are probable.

Since March, Idaho has reported 136,215 cases of COVID-19. Of that number, 113,230 are confirmed.

No new deaths were reported Sunday. The statewide death toll remains at 1,357.

Idaho surpassed 137,000 confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases on Monday after 918 new cases were reported. 689 of those cases are confirmed and 229 are probable.

Since March, Idaho has reported 137,010 confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19. Of that number, 113,919 are confirmed.

24 deaths were reported Monday, bringing the death toll to 1,381.

As of Saturday, Dec. 26, 280 Idahoans are in the hospital with COVID-19. 77 of those are in the ICU.

Idaho health officials reported 1,130 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide on Tuesday and 416 probable cases, for a total of 1,546 new cases.

As of Tuesday, 1,395 Idahoans had died related to COVID-19.

Health officials have confirmed 114,944 cases of COVID-19 in Idahoans, along with 23,691 probable cases.

Health and Welfare reports that there have been 5,519 hospitalizations of people with COVID-19, 1,003 admissions to the ICU and 6,863 health care workers infected.

That brings the total confirmed and probable cases reported since March to 139,864.

There are a total of 115,850 confirmed cases and 24,014 probable cases in all 44 of the 44 counties in Idaho, according to numbers released from the local health districts and the state.

The state said 48 new hospitalizations have been reported bringing the total number to 5,567 and 9 new cases have been admitted to the ICU bringing the total to 1,012.

There are 7,240 asymptomatic reported cases and 6,978 cases among health care workers.

There are a total of 116,717 confirmed cases and 24,360 probable cases in all 44 of the 44 counties in Idaho, according to numbers released from the local health districts and the state.

The state said 63 new hospitalizations have been reported bringing the total number to 5,630 and 6 new cases have been admitted to the ICU bringing the total to 1,018.

There are 7,317 asymptomatic reported cases and 7,086 cases among health care workers.

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and local health districts on Thursday reported 828 new confirmed and 346 new probable cases of COVID-19.

Since the pandemic reached Idaho in March, 116,849 people have tested positive for the virus.

The state also reported 29 new deaths on Thursday, bringing the overall death toll from coronavirus-related illness to 1,438. Idaho topped 500 deaths in December.

After a one-day hiatus in reporting due to the New Year’s Day holiday, Idaho health officials recorded more than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases and a dozen deaths linked to the disease as vaccinations administered statewide approach 20,000 doses.

Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and local health districts reported 852 new confirmed COVID-19 cases across the state on Saturday, as well as 203 more probable cases for a total of 1,055.

Saturday’s data also showed 12 more Idahoans have died of COVID-19.

Idaho health officials have reported 1,450 deaths linked to COVID-19 since March.

Health officials on Sunday reported 254 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide, the lowest number of confirmed cases in a single day since Oct. 4 when 223 new cases were reported. Officials also noted 46 new probable cases, bringing Sunday’s case tally to 300.

Officials also reported no new COVID-19-related deaths Sunday. In the last five days, at least a dozen new deaths have been reported statewide each day. To date, 1,450 Idahoans have died of COVID-19.

Idaho reported 648 new confirmed coronavirus cases on Monday and 218 new probable cases, for a total of 868, and also added 12 deaths to the COVID-19-related total.

Statewide, 12 new deaths because of COVID-19-related causes were reported Monday. The statewide death toll now stands at 1,462 people.

Since the pandemic reached Idaho, 118,601 cases have been confirmed.

There were 965 confirmed cases and 555 probable cases reported for a total of 1,520. Idaho’s seven-day moving average stands at 901.9 cases per day, down 45.3% from a peak of 1,650.3 cases per day on Dec. 10.

Idaho has lost 1,473 residents to the virus, with a case fatality rate of about 1%.

Since the pandemic reached Idaho, there have been 119,566 total confirmed cases reported, plus 25,382 probable cases.

Health and Welfare reports that there have been 5,824 hospitalizations of people with COVID-19, 1,040 admissions to the ICU and 7,279 health care workers infected.

The amount of open ICU capacity in Idaho dipped on Wednesday, leaving 123 available beds for patients in need of critical care.

Twenty-one new deaths in COVID-19-related causes were reported, bringing the death toll to 1,494 people.

Since the pandemic reached Idaho, 120,466 total infections have been confirmed.

Idaho’s seven health districts reported 868 new confirmed coronavirus cases on Friday and 247 probable cases, bringing the day’s total to 1,115.

The state’s health districts reported just seven new deaths on Friday — one day after 25 COVID-19-related fatalities were added — bringing the state’s death toll to 1,526.

A total of 375 people were hospitalized as of Wednesday, according to updated data reported by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare. At least 76 of those people were in the ICU.

The Gem State added 691 new COVID cases on Monday (559 new confirmed and 132 new probable cases). That's bring the total confirmed and probable cases to 150,239 (123,684 of those are confirmed cases) since last March.

The death total in Idaho now stands at 1,552. 16 more deaths were reported on Monday.

Officials also reported three new COVID-19-related deaths this weekend.

Idaho has now gone two weeks with a reported COVID-19 death each day. To date, 1,609 Idahoans have died of COVID-19.

That resulted in a significant increase in new COVID-19 cases and deaths as Tuesday’s update encompassed two days of data. Idaho added 1,096 new confirmed cases and 249 new probable cases for a total of 1,345 new cases.

There were 30 new coronavirus-related deaths reported between 14 counties. Idaho has lost 1,639 residents to the virus, with a case fatality rate of about 1.04%.

Since the pandemic reached Idaho, health officials have reported 128,243 confirmed cases overall, plus 28,711 probable cases.

Idaho reported 507 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus on Wednesday and 244 new probable cases, for a total of 751, and also added 28 deaths to a total that is creeping toward 1,700.

Signaling good news, the state’s COVID-19 hospitalizations have been reported at fewer than 300 people for three days in row — the first time that has happened since Oct. 31-Nov. 2.

Twenty-eight new deaths were reported statewide Wednesday because of COVID-related causes. The statewide death toll stands at 1,667 people.

Since the pandemic reached Idaho, 128,750 total confirmed cases have been found statewide.

Twenty-one more people were reported dead Thursday in Idaho due to COVID-19-related causes, including a Bonneville County woman between the ages of 18 and 29.

With Idaho’s death toll now at 1,658 people, the Bonneville County woman is the third Idahoan in that age range to die of COVID-19-related causes.

Idaho reported 472 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus on Thursday and 182 new probable cases, for a total of 654 new cases reported in one day.
