Idaho added 639 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, over the weekend. On Saturday, officials reported 373 confirmed and 84 probable cases (457 total), and on Sunday, officials reported 151 new confirmed and 31 new probable cases (182 total).

Since the start of January, 233 Idahoans have died of COVID-19 — 64 of those in the last week. Health and Welfare reported two coronavirus-related deaths over the weekend, one in Ada County on Saturday (395 total) and one in Bonneville County on Sunday (132 total). To date, 1,671 Idahoans have died of COVID-19.

Idaho has confirmed 130,174 cases of COVID-19 since March, along with 29,401 probable cases.

Health and Welfare reports that there have been 6,496 hospitalizations of people with COVID-19, 1,129 admissions to the ICU and 8,478 health care workers infected.

460 new confirmed and 113 new probable cases were reported in Idaho on Monday, 573 total.

That brings the total confirmed and probable cases to 160,033. Of those, 130,640 are confirmed cases.

Idaho's COVID-related death total now stands at 1,687. There were 17 new deaths reported Monday.

The latest hospital numbers as of Jan. 23: 169 hospitalized with COVID-19 and 53 patients in the ICU.

The state said 44 new hospitalizations have been reported bringing the total number to 6,604 and 9 new cases have been admitted to the ICU bringing the total to 1,153.

There are 9,453 asymptomatic reported cases and 8,650 cases among health care workers.

That brings the total confirmed and probable cases reported since March to 161,720.

There are a total of 131,682 confirmed cases and 30,038 probable cases in all 44 of the 44 counties in Idaho, according to numbers released from the local health districts and the state.

The state said 25 new hospitalizations have been reported bringing the total number to 6,629 and 94 new cases have been admitted to the ICU bringing the total to 1,157.

There are 9,514 asymptomatic reported cases and 8,728 cases among health care workers.

7 new deaths were reported bringing the total recorded deaths to 1,721.

The Gem State reported 521 new confirmed and 100 new probable cases of the coronavirus on Friday. The state has now recorded 132,316 confirmed and 162,355 total cases of COVID-19 since March 13, 2020, when the first case of the virus was recorded in Idaho.

Idaho reported four new deaths, bringing the state's death toll to 1,727.

Health officials reported 414 new confirmed and 102 new probable COVID cases on Monday, for a total 516 new cases statewide.

Since March there have been 132,957 confirmed cases and 163,165 total confirmed and probable cases.

The death toll in Idaho now stands at 1,737 after 10 more deaths were reported Monday.

As of Saturday, 157 people were hospitalized with COVID-19, 46 of them in ICU.

Idaho reported 372 new confirmed coronavirus cases Tuesday and 111 new probables, for a total of 483, while also adding seven COVID-19-related deaths to the statewide count.

Another seven people were reported dead Tuesday because of COVID-19-related causes, bringing the statewide death toll to 1,744.

Since the pandemic reached Idaho, a total of 133,334 cases have been confirmed statewide.

Health and Welfare reports that there have been 6,732 hospitalizations of people with COVID-19, 1,176 admissions to the ICU and 8,865 health care workers infected.

Health officials reported 150 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 62 probable cases, for a combined 212 new cases.

On Saturday, nine more Idahoans were reported dead of COVID-19-related causes.

In the past week, 42 Idahoans have died of COVID-19, bringing the state’s death toll for the pandemic to 1,769.

Since the start of the pandemic, 134,512 Idahoans have had confirmed cases of COVID-19, while another 30,766 have been considered “probable” cases. Nearly 6,800 people have been hospitalized because of the disease, and by Saturday more than 86,000 were deemed “recovered” by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and the state’s seven public health districts reported a combined 289 new confirmed cases and 137 new probable cases Tuesday, for a total of 426. New coronavirus-related deaths were added in Blaine (1 new, 15 total), Canyon (1 new, 264 total), Cassia (1 new, 24 total), Minidoka (1 new, 29 total) and Nez Perce (1 new, 49 total) counties.

Health and Welfare also removed one death from Kootenai County (169 total). Idaho has lost 1,782 residents to the virus, with a case fatality rate of about 1.07%.

Since the pandemic reached Idaho, there have been 135,228 confirmed cases overall, plus 30,977 probable cases.

Health and Welfare reports that there have been 6,839 hospitalizations of people with COVID-19, 1,194 admissions to the ICU and 9,131 health care workers infected.

Idaho health officials on Thursday reported 325 confirmed and probable cases of the coronavirus statewide as case numbers continued to taper off following a surge late last year.

Across the state, data from Health and Welfare and local health districts showed just 250 confirmed coronavirus cases and 75 probable cases.

No new COVID-19 deaths were reported a day after 11 were added to the numbers Wednesday.

Idaho’s health districts and the Department of Health and Welfare reported just 233 new confirmed coronavirus cases Friday, continuing a weeks-long decline. With 111 new probable cases, the combined total came in at 344.

Approximately 180 people were hospitalized across the state with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 on Wednesday, the most recent day that data was available from the Department of Health and Welfare. About 45 of those patients were in ICU units the same day, according to the state health department’s website.

The state also reported nine new COVID-19-related deaths Friday.

To date, Idaho has recorded 136,047 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 31,276 probable cases.

Health and Welfare reports that there have been 6,875 hospitalizations of people with COVID-19, 1,204 admissions to the ICU and 9,231 health care workers infected.

The state of Idaho and local health districts reported 295 new confirmed and 111 new probable COVID-19 cases statewide on Wednesday. Since the pandemic reached Idaho, 136,910 Idahoans have tested positive for the virus.

Also on Wednesday, 11 new deaths were reported throughout the state.

As of Monday, Feb. 15, 164 people were hospitalized with COVID-19, and 37 of them were in the ICU.

Idaho added 245 new confirmed and 179 new probable cases on Wednesday for a total of 424 total new COVID-19 cases.

Since the pandemic reached Idaho last March, 138,341 Idahoans have tested positive for the virus.

No new coronavirus-related deaths were reported on Wednesday. The death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 1,842.

The state has reported the latest hospitalization numbers. As of Monday, 143 people were hospitalized statewide with COVID-19 and 38 people were in the ICU.
