Nevada on Friday reported 399 new coronavirus cases and nine additional deaths over the preceding day.

Updated data from the Department of Health and Human Services posted on the state’s coronavirus website brought totals to 293,029 cases and 4,942 deaths in Nevada.

There are 509 people in Nevada hospitalized with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases, which is 23 fewer than the day prior, according to state data.

Nevada on Saturday reported 459 new coronavirus cases and 15 additional deaths, according to data from the Department of Health and Human Services.

The updated figures posted to the state’s coronavirus website brought totals to 293,488 cases and 4,957 deaths.

As of Saturday, 491 people in Nevada were hospitalized with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases, which is 18 fewer than the day before.

It was the second day in a row the death toll did not rise.

The updated numbers from the state Department of Health and Human Services show Nevada’s cumulative case total at 293,980. The death toll remained at 4,957, according to state data.

Updated figures from the Department of Health and Human Services posted to the state’s coronavirus website brought cumulative totals to 294,289 cases and 4,967 deaths since the pandemic began.

As of Tuesday’s update, the number of hospitalized stood at 459, a level not seen since October, before the winter spike.

Twenty additional COVID-19 deaths were reported in Nevada on Tuesday as its test positivity rate and hospitalizations fell, according to data released Wednesday.

The totals now stand at 4,987 deaths in Nevada, and 3,887 deaths in Clark County.

The state’s total cases are now at 294,684. Clark County has a total of 227,455.

Hospitalizations are now below 500 COVID-19 patients in the state.

The number of hospitalizations decreased by 19 in the last day, and the current total is 440 confirmed/suspected cases.

Statewide licensed beds occupied: 75%

ICU units occupancy rate: 61%

Ventilators in use: 28%

There are 100 patients in intensive care units (ICU) across the state, down eight from the previous day.

The DHHS report showed 53 patients on ventilators, no change from the previous day.

There have been 79 deaths recorded this week, the lowest number in a single week since 58 were reported Nov. 8-14, according to records maintained by the Review-Journal.

As of Saturday’s update, 399 people in Nevada were hospitalized with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases, six more than the day prior, according to state data.

Nevada reports 429 new COVID-19 cases, with 350 from Clark County. The state’s total cases are now at 296,822.

In the past day, 14 new COVID-19-related deaths were reported, 13 from Clark County. The totals now stand at 5,054 deaths in Nevada, and 3,947 deaths in Clark County.

Hospitalizations are now below 400 COVID-19 patients in the state.

The number of hospitalizations decreased by four in the last day, and the current total is 395 confirmed/suspected cases.

Nevada registered its highest one-day total of new COVID-19 cases in nearly a month, with 618 recorded over the preceding day, according to state data posted Thursday.

The state also reported 13 new deaths from the disease caused by the new coronavirus, which also was well above the 14-day moving average of five fatalities per day.

The new reporting brought the state totals to 297,765 cases and 5,080 deaths.

There were 347 people in Nevada hospitalized with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases, 20 fewer than the day prior, according to the state data.

Nevada reports 858 new COVID-19 cases on an inflated report from Clark County and increased testing, according to data released Friday.

The Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) said its daily report included more than 400 cases that were previously unreported.

In the past day, 17 new COVID-19-related deaths were reported, all from Clark County. The totals now stand at 5,097 deaths in Nevada, and 3,988 deaths in Clark County.

There are 83 patients in intensive care units (ICU) across the state, down one from the previous day.

The DHHS report showed 41 patients on ventilators, down two from the previous day.

The number of hospitalizations decreased by 18 in the last day, and the current total is 305 confirmed/suspected cases.

There are 79 patients in intensive care units (ICU) across the state, down 10 from the previous day.

The DHHS report showed 208 patients on ventilators, up 163 from the previous day — a significant increase.

Most Nevada COVID-19 metrics climb again; positivity rate rise stalls

Nevada continued to see increases in most of its major coronavirus metrics on Friday, with new cases exceeding 1,000 for the sixth straight day, a dozen deaths and an increase in hospitalized COVID-19 patients.

Updated figures posted by the Department of Health and Human Services on the state’s coronavirus website showed 1,310 new COVID-19 cases reported over the preceding day.

Friday’s report pushed totals in the state to 356,401 cases and 5,912 deaths from the disease.

The update also showed there were 1,133 people in Nevada hospitalized with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases, four more than the day prior. Hospitalization totals have been trending up since the second week in June, and have nearly reached height of last summer’s peak, which was 1,165, state data shows.

Clark County, meanwhile, reported 1,059 new coronavirus cases on Friday, according to data posted on the Southern Nevada Health District’s coronavirus website.
