The North Dakota Department of Health Thursday morning confirmed 725 new cases of COVID-19 in the state during testing November 28, bringing the total positives since testing began to 78,658.

The number of currently active COVID-19 cases in the state stands at 6,837 as of November 28. That’s down 514 cases from November 27.

5 new deaths were reported

A total of 920 people have died so far in North Dakota as a result of COVID-19.

Of those, 674 are directly attributable to COVID-19 according to official death records. Another 125 deaths are where COVID-19 is not the primary cause of death. A total of 119 death records are pending.

323 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 as of November 28, up 6 from November 27. A total of 2,667 hospitalizations have been reported since data tracking began.

The North Dakota Department of Health is confirming 598 new cases of COVID-19 along with 7 more deaths in the state.

In total, 927 deaths have been linked to COVID-19 in the state.

There are now 6,477 active cases in North Dakota, with 331 patients hospitalized.

The number of currently active COVID-19 cases in the state stands at 5,686 as of November 30.

27 new deaths were reported

A total of 954 people have died so far in North Dakota as a result of COVID-19.

Of those, 732 are directly attributable to COVID-19 according to official death records. Another 132 deaths are where COVID-19 is not the primary cause of death. A total of 90 death records are pending.

319 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 as of November 30, down 12 from November 29. A total of 2,751 hospitalizations have been reported since data tracking began.

The number of currently active COVID-19 cases in the state stands at 5,236 as of December 1. That’s down 450 cases from November 30.

12 new deaths were reported. A total of 966 people have died so far in North Dakota as a result of COVID-19.

Coronavirus cases rose Thursday after taking a dip over the past two weeks, with North Dakota recording 978 new cases.

The cases stem from 10,977 tests processed in labs Wednesday for a positivity rate of 9.65% as calculated by the state.

The new cases pushed the state's active case total up to 5,461

The North Dakota Department of Health said 11 more residents have died with COVID-19

The state reported an additional five hospitalizations Thursday for a total of 306.

The North Dakota Department of Health announced 27 COVID-19 deaths on Friday, Dec. 11, and overall decrease in active cases.

The department says 1,130 North Dakotans have died with COVID-19 since March.

Now, 4,406 North Dakotans are known to be infected with the virus, marking a decrease of 190 individuals from Thursday.

And even as active infections drop, hospitals are still dealing with high COVID-19 admissions. There are 277 residents hospitalized due to the illness, down 25 individuals from the previous day.

Active cases fell to 2,885. The Department of Health reported 241 new cases from 5,598 test results, as well as 10 new hospitalizations, raising the total to 154 people hospitalized due to COVID-19. Nearly 3,400 people have been hospitalized since the pandemic emerged in North Dakota in March.

The department also reported six new deaths of people with COVID-19, bringing the state's death toll to 1,231.

89,788 people have tested positive for COVID-19, or about 1 in every 9 North Dakota residents.

There were 27 available, staffed intensive-care beds in the state as of Saturday afternoon, as well as 382 available, staffed non-ICU beds.

North Dakota currently ranks fourth in the country for death rates, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and sixth in deaths per 100,000 in the past seven days with 1.5 per 100,000.

The North Dakota Department of Health reported 257 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, Dec. 20, bringing the number of active cases down to 2,795.

The state reported zero deaths Sunday. Active cases declined by 90 from yesterday.

North Dakota currently ranks fourth in the country for death rates, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and sixth in deaths per 100,000 in the past seven days with 1.5 per 100,000.

The North Dakota Department of Health on Tuesday, Dec. 22, reported that five more residents have died from COVID-19, but active cases continue to decrease in the state.

The department says 1,238 North Dakotans have succumbed to the illness since March. The state is averaging nearly nine deaths per day in December, marking a drop from November when an average of more than 16 North Dakotans died each day.

Now, 2,439 North Dakotans are known to be infected with the virus, down 356 over the last day. COVID-19 hospitalizations have also decreased in recent weeks and now sit at 135.
