On Monday, 32 new total coronavirus cases were announced bringing the state’s total case count to 107,180, up from Sunday (107,148).

No new deaths were reported on Monday, leaving the total at 1,705.

Current hospitalizations are at 161, down from Sunday (162). Total hospitalizations are at 6,201, up from Sunday (6,193).

South Dakota added 34 COVID-19 related-deaths on Wednesday, according to the Department of Health.

There are now 1,739 total deaths in the state since the start of the pandemic, the state reported.

There are now 3,238 active coronavirus cases in South Dakota, down 190 from Tuesday’s report. Since the start of the pandemic there have been 107,608 cases of the coronavirus in South Dakota, the state reported

Total hospital beds available dropped to 39.1% available in the state as of Wednesday's report. There are 45% of adult ICU beds available in the state, 2.5% less than the previous day.

24 new COVID-19 deaths in South Dakota were reported on Thursday, bringing the state total to 1,763.

Active cases are at 3,137, down from Wednesday (3,238).

On Thursday, 187 new total coronavirus cases were announced bringing the state’s total case count to 107,795 up from Wednesday (107,608).

Current hospitalizations are at 161, the same number from Wednesday (161). Total hospitalizations are at 6,242.

South Dakota reported five new COVID-19 related deaths and 160 new cases on Friday.

Active cases continue to decline in the state, falling 77 to 3,060 from the reported numbers on Thursday. Current hospitalizations are now at 152 with a total of 103,127 recovered cases reported in the state.

The additional deaths reported on Friday bring the total since the start of the pandemic to 1,768, DOH reports.

South Dakota saw three more COVID-19 related-deaths and 179 new cases on Sunday, according to the Department of Health.

There are now 1,778 total deaths in the state since the start of the pandemic, the state reported.

On Sunday, two women and one man died due to COVID-19.

There are less than 3,000 active cases of the virus in the state, with 2,833 active coronavirus cases in South Dakota, down 61 from Saturday’s report.

The state has seen 108,250 cases of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, the Department of Health reported.

In the last day the number of people hospitalized dropped by 20 to 125, the state reported.

There are 44% of hospital beds available in the state and 50.2% of adult ICU beds are available, according to the state.

According to the latest update, 65 new total coronavirus cases were announced bringing the state’s total case count to 108,315, up from Sunday (108,250). Total recovered cases are now at 103,709, up from Sunday (103,639).

No new COVID-19 deaths in South Dakota were reported on Monday. The death toll remains at 1,778.

Current hospitalizations are at 126, up from Sunday (125). Total hospitalizations are at 6,294.

Active cases of COVID-19 in South Dakota are at 2,600 on Tuesday, according to data reported by the South Dakota Department of Health.

According to the latest update, 116 new total coronavirus cases were announced bringing the state’s total case count to 108,431, up from Monday (108,315).

While the difference in the total case count reported Tuesday and Monday equals 116, when you add the PCR or newly confirmed cases (109) and antigen, or new probable cases (9), there were 118 new cases reported.

One new COVID-19 death in South Dakota was reported on Tuesday. The death toll is at 1,779.

Current hospitalizations are at 131, up from Monday (126). Total hospitalizations are at 6,304.

South Dakota health officials have reported 209 more cases of COVID-19 since Tuesday, bringing the state's total to 108,431

According to Wednesday's report, 141 of the new cases are confirmed and 68 are probable.

State health officials say there are 2,552 active cases in the state, a decrease of 48 since yesterday.

The state's health department has reported three additional virus-related deaths, bringing the state's death toll to 1,782.

Currently, 133 residents in the state are hospitalized due to the virus, which is up from 131 reported on Tuesday. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 6,321 COVID-19 hospitalizations in South Dakota.

South Dakota reports six new COVID-19 related deaths on Saturday and 188 new confirmed cases, according to the Department of Health.

The deaths reported bring the total number since the start of the pandemic to 1,804. As of Saturday, 94 more men have died from the virus despite men only accounting for 48% of all cases in the state.

Active cases continue are on the decline daily as the state reported 2,372 on Saturday, down 58 from the 2,430 reported on Friday. The total number of cases of the virus in the state to date is 109,132, according to the DOH.

People currently hospitalized from COVID-19 declined by six to 115, the DOH reports.

The 14 additional deaths brought the statewide total to 1,829 South Dakotans who have died because of COVID-19, or with COVID-19.

An additional 279 people tested positive for the disease.

The number of people with COVID-19 occupying a state hospital bed dropped to 104 from 109 during the last 24 hours. Seventeen were receiving intensive care while six were on ventilators.

The death toll is now at 1,838.

According to the latest update, 137 new total coronavirus cases were announced bringing the state’s total case count to 110,205, up from Friday (110,068).

Active cases are now at 2,119, down from Friday (2,180).

Current hospitalizations are at 82, down from Friday (84). The last time South Dakota was under 100 current hospitalizations was Sept. 11. Total hospitalizations are at 6,431.

The new deaths now bring the total since the start of the pandemic to 1,844. South Dakota has reported 110,315 total cases of the virus.

Active cases in the state continue to fall. South Dakota reported 2,073 active cases on Sunday, down 46 from Saturday's update, DOH said.

Among the six deaths, one was a woman and five were men, according to the state.

Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 rose on Sunday by 5 from 82 to 87, the DOH reported. There are 45.2% of hospital beds available and 53.5% of adult ICU beds available in South Dakota, according to the state's report on Sunday.

The Department of Health reported four more COVID-19 related deaths and confirmed 140 new cases in South Dakota on Sunday.

On Sunday, the number of active cases fell by 31 to 1,966, and those currently hospitalized from the virus went from 95 to 90, the DOH reports.

With the four deaths reported Sunday by the state, the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic is at 1,863.

South Dakota health officials reported 212 new coronavirus cases as other tracking numbers remained relatively flat Tuesday.

The new cases bring the state’s total known cases to 111,546. Of those, 1,938 are active, an increase of five from Monday.

There were no new deaths reported Tuesday. The state’s total remains at 1,863.

Current hospitalizations fell by three to 91. COVID-19 patients currently occupy 3.3% of hospital beds and 4.3% of ICU beds. Officials say 45.8% of hospital beds and 52.4% of ICU beds are still available.
