The Indiana State Department of Health is reporting 2,548 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 30 more deaths. Indiana has recorded a total of 592,709 positive cases and 8,966 confirmed deaths.

However, hospitals are still feeling the stress of COVID, as there were 2,386 hospitalized COVID patients across the state Sunday. The state has less than 30 percent of its ICU beds available.

Indiana health officials are reporting 62 more COVID-19 deaths and 2,942 more cases on Wednesday.

Statewide, 2,302 patients are hospitalized with COVID-19.

At least 9,154 Hoosiers have died from the coronavirus as of Wednesday, and there have been at least 598,313 positive cases throughout the state since the start of the pandemic.

Tuesday: 126 more coronavirus deaths and 2,756 new cases were reported. 2,332 patients were hospitalized.

The state is reporting 3,733 new cases for a total of 601,937 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.

There are also an additional 64 deaths from COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 9,218.

Indiana public health officials announced 3,560 new COVID-19 cases and 49 additional deaths on Friday.

Overall, 9,267 Indiana residents have died from COVID-19 and 605,426 have contracted it since the start of the pandemic.

The number of Indiana residents who have died from the coronavirus grew by 50 Saturday after the Indiana Department of Health released new statistics on the pandemic.

Nearly 9,700 Hoosiers now are confirmed to have died from COVID-19 or suspected of dying from it based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record, the department said.

Another 3,188 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 608,519 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the coronavirus.

Monday, the State Department Of Health reported 2,210 new cases and 12 additional deaths. That brings the state's total to 93,052 confirmed deaths since the pandemic started.

IU Health's 16 hospitals have about 330 COVID-19 patients. That's a 32-percent decrease from a December high of nearly 500.

At the same time, the number of hospital workers testing positive for the virus fell 56 percent.

Across the state, COVID-related hospitalizations are down by about 41 percent. Deaths are down by more than half.

The state is reporting 2,260 new cases of COVID-19 for a total of 617,176 since the pandemic began.

There were also an additional 40 deaths bringing the death toll in Indiana to 9,470.

Indiana reported 2,647 new COVID-19 cases Friday and an additional 46 deaths, bringing the totals since the start of the pandemic to 622,625 cases and 9,549 deaths.

How many people in Indiana hospitals with COVID-19: 1,725.

Intensive care unit bed availability: 31.4% of 2,174 beds. 18.4% of beds are occupied by COVID patients.

Ventilator availability: 77.1% of 2,799.

Indiana reported that on Saturday an additional 2,389 Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, and 43 more people have died from the disease.

The new figures bring the state's totals for known cases and deaths since the start of the pandemic to 624,959 and 9,592, respectively, according to the latest tally from the Indiana State Department of Health.

COVID-19 patients occupy nearly 18% of ICU beds in Indiana, and nearly 8% of ventilators being used are for coronavirus patients.

The Indiana State Department of Health on Sunday issued new COVID-19 information for the state.

ISDH says 1,750 more Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19.

A total of 626,682 Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19.

ISDH says five more Hoosiers have died from COVID-19. The deaths occurred and Jan. 29-30.

A total of 9,598 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19. Another 376 “probable” deaths have occurred, but a positive test is not on record.

There are currently 1,584 Hoosiers hospitalized with COVID-19.

ISDH says 1,480 more Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19. Those tests were recorded on Feb. 2.

A total of 631,331 Hoosiers have tested positive for COVID-19.

ISDH says 36 more Hoosiers have died from COVID-19.

A total of 9,713 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19. Another 378 “probable” deaths have occurred but a positive test is not on record.

There are currently 1,582 Hoosiers hospitalized with COVID-19.

The Indiana Department of Health reported 1,529 COVID-19 cases Friday. The total number of cases is up to 635,171.

Forty-nine additional deaths were added to the state's total which is now 11,686 confirmed and probable deaths.

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) reported 2,855 more positive coronavirus cases and announced 67 additional confirmed COVID-19 deaths Saturday.

Since the start of the pandemic, ISDH has reported 637,987 total positive cases and 11,346 total deaths in Indiana. There are also 406 probable COVID-19 deaths.

The latest hospitalization numbers show 1,399 total COVID-19 patients: 1,087 confirmed and 312 under investigation.

ISDH says 31.3% of ICU beds and 77.6% of ventilators are available across the state.

The Indiana State Department of Health on Sunday reported 1,764 new cases of COVID-19. Positive tests in the state now total 639,711 after adjustments made to Saturday's numbers.

The state also confirmed 55 additional deaths the occurred between Dec. 19, 2020 and Saturday have been reported to ISDH in patients with a confirmed positive COVID-19 test. Total confirmed deaths among Hoosiers now stand at 11,401. Another 416 probable deaths have been reported in patients for whom no positive test is on record.

The real number of people infected by the virus around the world is believed to be much higher — perhaps 10 times higher in the U.S., according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention — given testing limitations and the many mild cases that have gone unreported or unrecognized.

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Monday, February 8, 1,065 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

According to ISDH, 640,744 people in Indiana have been diagnosed with the coronavirus. A total of 11,459 people have died from the virus, an increase of 58.

Indiana public health officials announced 1,762 new COVID-19 cases and 26 additional deaths on Thursday.

Overall, 11,604 Indiana residents have died from COVID-19 and 645,006 have contracted it since the start of the pandemic.

A larger surge of coronavirus deaths in Indiana during December than was initially reported contributed to an 18% jump in the state's overall deaths during 2020.

Preliminary totals from the Indiana Department of Health show nearly 77,000 died in the state last year -- an increase of almost 11,000 from 2019 -- as nationwide deaths also jumped with the global pandemic.

The large increase came as health officials have recorded at least 9,390 COVID-19 deaths during 2020.

The Indiana State Department of Health reported 1,275 new cases of COVID-19 Saturday. That brings to 647,657 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the virus.

The ISDH also reported 33 additional confirmed deaths from the virus. A total of 11,722 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, with another 427 probable deaths reported in patients who died with COVID-19 symptoms but no positive test on record.
