Illinois health officials reported 2,082 new COVID-19 cases and 20 deaths Tuesday.

The total number of cases in Illinois now stands at 1,150,170, with a total of 19,686 deaths, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of Monday night, 2,117 patients in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 497 patients were in the ICU and 240 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.

Illinois health officials reported 2,825 new COVID-19 cases and 102 deaths Thursday.

The total number of cases in Illinois now stands at 1,155,833, with a total of 19,841 deaths, since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of Wednesday night, 1,954 patients in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 448 patients were in the ICU and 227 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.

Health officials in Illinois have reported 1,631 new confirmed and probable cases of coronavirus on Sunday, along with 35 additional deaths.

In all, 1,162,154 cases of the virus have been recorded in Illinois since the start of the pandemic, along with 19,961 confirmed fatalities.

Another 2,160 deaths are classified as “probable” COVID-19 fatalities.

Currently there are 1,777 Illinois residents hospitalized because of COVID, the lowest number reported since early October. Of those patients, 373 are currently in intensive care units, while 189 are on ventilators.

Another 1,420 coronavirus infections were reported Monday to the Illinois Department of Public Health, the lowest daily count since Sept. 29, when 1,362 cases were confirmed.

And 41 more people died from the virus, raising the state’s death toll to 20,002 deaths.

The Illinois Department of Public Health on Tuesday is reporting 1,348 new cases of COVID-19 and 32 additional deaths, bringing the state's total caseload to 2,029,675 and the death toll to 20,034.

As of Monday night, 1,726 individuals in Illinois were hospitalized with COVID-19, with 385 of those in the ICU and 179 on ventilators.

The Illinois Department of Public Health is now reporting a total of 1,166,717 cases, including 20,057 deaths.

As of Tuesday night, 1,719 individuals in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 375 patients were in the ICU and 176 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 1,966 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 Thursday, with 72 deaths.

IDPH is reporting a total of 1,168,683 total COVID-19 cases, including 20,129 deaths.

As of Wednesday night, 1,655 patients in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 386 patients were in the ICU and 184 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.

Illinois public health officials reported 2,219 confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 on Friday, with 63 additional deaths.

That brings to 1,170,902 cases since the coronavirus pandemic reached Illinois a year ago. The illness has claimed 20,192 lives.

There were 1,596 people hospitalized with COVID-19 late Thursday, with 366 patients in intensive care units and 190 on ventilators.

IDPH is reporting a total of 1,172,824 COVID-19 cases, including 20,234 deaths.

As of Friday night, 1,551 patients in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 351 patients were in the ICU and 171 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.

State health officials on Sunday announced 1,585 new probable and confirmed COVID-19 cases and an additional 35 virus-related deaths.

As of Saturday, 1,468 beds were occupied statewide by coronavirus patients, with 356 of those patients in intensive care units and 170 on ventilators, officials said.

The state’s pandemic death toll has risen to 20,269.

Officials announced 1,246 new and probable cases of COVID-19, marking the smallest daily caseload reported since 1,076 cases were reported on July 28. Officials also announced 34 virus-related deaths.

As of Sunday, 1,504 beds were occupied statewide by coronavirus patients, with 377 of those patients in intensive care units and 169 on ventilators, officials said.

Since March, nearly 1.2 million people in Illinois have been diagnosed with the virus and more than 20,000 have died.

Health officials in Illinois are reporting 2,022 new cases of coronavirus on Wednesday, along with 44 additional deaths attributed to the virus.

According to the latest data from the Illinois Department of Public Health, Wednesday's new cases bring the state to 1,179,342 cases of the virus since the pandemic began last year. A total of 20,374 deaths have been reported as a result of the virus.

Hospitalizations in the state continue to drop, with 1,511 patients currently hospitalized due to COVID-19. Of those patients, 338 are currently in intensive care units, while 172 are on ventilators.

Public health officials on Saturday announced 1,780 more Illinoisans were diagnosed with COVID-19 as more than 83,000 vaccine doses went into arms across the state.

COVID-19 hospital admissions are back to summertime levels, with 1,353 beds occupied as of Friday night.

Still, officials reported 34 additional deaths, including those of two Cook County men in their 40s.

Nearly a year into the pandemic, about 1.2 million residents have been confirmed to carry the virus, and 20,494 of them have died.
