Florida added 8,720 coronavirus cases and 156 deaths Monday, according to the Florida Department of Health.

Since March, the state has identified 1,658,169 cases of the virus. About 11,270 cases are announced per day, based on the rolling weekly average.

Health officials have also tracked a total of 25,849 deaths statewide due to COVID-19. The weekly death average increased slightly to about 170 people announced dead per day.

Statewide, about 6,900 people are hospitalized with a primary diagnosis of coronavirus, according to the Agency for Health Care Administration.

About 21 percent of Florida’s hospital beds and 19 percent of its intensive care unit beds were available as of Monday afternoon.

Health officials reported 227 new coronavirus deaths among Florida residents in Tuesday’s report, increasing the total number of Floridians killed during the pandemic to 25,673. The total of non-resident deaths is 407.

The Florida Department of Health also announced 120 deaths Sunday, making it 26,915 people in Florida who have been killed by the virus. The death average decreased to about 175 people announced dead per day.

About 6,000 people across Florida are hospitalized with a primary diagnosis of coronavirus, according to the Agency for Health Care Administration.

Statewide, about 24 percent of hospital beds and 19 percent of ICU beds are available.

Florida added 5,730 coronavirus cases Monday, dropping the weekly case average below 10,000 cases per day for the first time in more than a month.

Since March, the state has identified 1,727,107 cases of the virus. As of Monday’s average, about 9,848 cases are announced per day.

The Florida Department of Health also announced 214 deaths Monday, bringing the total number of people dead statewide to 27,129. The weekly death average increased to about 183 people announced dead per day.

About 6,100 people in Florida are hospitalized with a primary diagnosis of coronavirus, according to the Agency for Health Care Administration.

The Florida Department of Health says the number of known cases of COVID-19 in the state rose by 7,486 Saturday. According to the state's daily update, the total number of cases in Florida is now 1,771,359.

The number of Florida resident deaths has reached 27,599, an increase of 142 since Friday's update. In addition, a total of 459 non-Floridians have died in the state.

As of Saturday, the number of Floridians currently hospitalized for a primary diagnosis of COVID-19 was 5,377 with the state reporting a total of 74,267 hospitalized for treatment at some point.

Florida added 6,624 coronavirus cases Sunday, with the state’s latest batch announced hours ahead of a Super Bowl that people fear may spread the virus further.

Since March, just under 1.8 million cases of coronavirus have been identified in Florida.

The Florida Department of Health also announced 103 deaths Sunday, bringing the number of people dead statewide to 28,161.

Statewide, about 5,400 people are hospitalized with a primary diagnosis of coronavirus, according to the Agency for Health Care Administration.

About 23 percent of Florida’s hospital beds and 21 percent of its ICU beds are available as of Sunday afternoon. Locally, about 22 percent of hospital beds and 23 percent of ICU beds are available.

The number of cases that resulted in a hospitalization increased by 152 admissions from the previous day.

As of Monday, the number of Floridians currently hospitalized for a primary diagnosis of COVID-19 was 5,381 with the state reporting a total of 74,543 hospitalized for treatment at some point.

Florida’s resident death toll from coronavirus rose to 28,048 with the addition of 233 more reported fatalities on Tuesday while also adding 7,023 more positive COVID-19 cases to bring the total to 1,790,743.

With 478 non-Florida resident deaths, including 6 new reported Tuesday, the state’s combined total stands at 28,526.

Across the state, 5,307 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 as of 2 p.m.

To date, 76,001 people have been hospitalized in Florida, according to the state’s report, which includes 353 newly reported hospitalizations since Monday’s update.

Over the course of the pandemic, Florida has seen 28,871 deaths.

As of Thursday, Florida hospitals were treating 4,906 patients for COVID-19, including 931 people in the Tampa Bay region.

The health department reported 301 new admissions Thursday, including 68 admissions locally.

About 19 percent of hospital beds and 17 percent of adult intensive care unit beds were available statewide. In Tampa Bay, about 18 percent of hospital beds and 18 percent of adult ICU beds were open.

Florida added 5,436 coronavirus cases on Sunday, bringing the weekly average of cases down.

Since March, 1,827,373 coronavirus cases have been identified across Florida. An average of about 7,056 cases are announced per day, based on the weekly average.

The state also announced 96 additional deaths from the virus, making the number of people dead statewide 29,275.

About 4,700 people in Florida are hospitalized with a primary diagnosis of coronavirus, according to the Agency for Health Care Administration.

About 23 percent of hospital beds and 21 percent of ICU beds are available statewide. In Tampa Bay, about 22 percent of hospital beds and 21 percent of ICU beds are available. Morton Plant Hospital, which has the largest ICU capacity in Pinellas, had only two ICU beds available as of Sunday afternoon.

The number of cases that led to a hospitalization increased by 121 admissions.

Florida’s health department confirmed 7,342 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday and an additional 157 resident deaths as a result of the novel coronavirus.

The state has now verified 1,844,627 COVID-19 cases since the outbreak began and 29,311 resident deaths, according to health department data.

Another 513 non-residents have died in Florida from COVID-19, and there have been at least 76,825 resident hospitalizations attributed to the virus in the state since the start of the outbreak.

Florida’s Department of Health on Thursday reported 5,117 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, the fewest since Nov. 16, when 4,663 were reported.

Also reported were 166 total deaths, 163 of which were Florida residents.

For the novel coronavirus pandemic, Florida has had 1,849,744 total cases, 29,474 resident deaths, 516 non-resident deaths, and 29,990 total deaths.

As of 11 a.m. Thursday, the agency said there were 4,373 people hospitalized.

Thursday, Miami-Dade’s New Normal Dashboard said hospitals reported 744 COVID-19 patients, a decrease from Wednesday 769. The number of patients in Intensive Care Unit Beds was 165, a decrease from 162.

Florida has surpassed 30,000 COVID-related deaths, as the state added 6,683 coronavirus cases for Feb. 18, according to the Florida Department of Health's latest report.

A total of 1,856,427 people in Florida have tested positive for coronavirus since the pandemic began.

On Friday, the state reported another 218 Floridians and six non-residents had died after testing positive for COVID-19. That brings the total to 29,692 residents and 522 non-residents who have died since the pandemic began – a total of 30,214 deaths in the state related to the virus.

As for hospitalizations, 4,296 people in Florida were hospitalized with coronavirus as their primary diagnosis as of Friday afternoon.

Statewide, a total of 77,408 people in Florida were hospitalized with the virus at some point during the pandemic.

February has reported 3,734 resident fatalities in February, an average of 162 a day. With 536 non-Florida resident deaths, including 6 new reported Tuesday, the state’s combined total stands at 30,749.

Across the state, 4,186 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 as of 2 p.m. Tuesday, including 200 in Orange County, 98 in Osceola, 74 in Lake and 68 in Seminole.

As of Monday 55,403 people were currently hospitalized with COVID-19, according to COVID-19 Tracking Project, which updates its data once a day.

To date, 79,410 people have been hospitalized in Florida, according to the state’s report, which includes 314 newly reported hospitalizations since Monday’s update.

February has reported 3,999 resident fatalities in February, an average of about 160 a day. With 540 non-Florida resident deaths, including 2 new reported Thursday, the state’s combined total stands at 31,018.

Across the state, 3,957 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 as of 2 p.m. Thursday, including 180 in Orange County, 80 in Osceola, 66 in Lake and 63 in Seminole.

To date, 79,956 people have been hospitalized in Florida, according to the state’s report, which includes 281 newly reported hospitalizations since Wednesday’s update.
