Fred Allen Williams III shooting

Century Sheriff’s Station were conducting a routine patrol check of Mona Park. As the deputies entered the parking lot, they saw a large group of approximately 10 to 15 people. They saw that one of them was holding a firearm in his hand. When the suspect saw the deputies, he immediately ran out of the parking lot headed South. One of the deputies chased the suspect down a drive way and into the backyard of an uninvolved residence. The suspect then engaged the deputy by pointing his firearm at him at which point a deputy involved shooting occurred.
