The state is reporting another increase in deaths linked to COVID-19. Since Wednesday, the number has gone up by 138. It brings the state’s COVID-19 death toll to 2,879.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) also reports another 5,312 Kansans have tested positive for the coronavirus. The Kansas total since the pandemic began is 227,745.

In the past two days, 143 more Kansans have been hospitalized with COVID-19.

Since Friday, another 3,572 Kansans have tested positive for the coronavirus. It brings the total since the pandemic began to 231,317.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) also reports 18 more Kansans have died with COVID-19. It brings the state’s death toll to 2,897.

Since Friday, 52 more Kansans have been hospitalized with COVID-19.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment said Wednesday the state has 236,818 confirmed cases of COVID-19, and there have been 3,027 deaths since the outbreak started.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services said Wednesday there have been 408,443 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the outbreak and 5,858 deaths.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reported an increase of 5,501 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in its first update since Monday, pushing the statewide total to 236,818 since the outbreak started.

KDHE officials said Wednesday the death total grew by 130 to 3,027 and hospitalizations increased by 158 to 7,113 since the outbreak started.

Health officials said Wednesday that 32% (-8%) of ICU beds are available and 81% (+0%) of the state’s ventilators are available.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported on Wednesday that the state has 408,443 total confirmed cases since the pandemic began. That number is an increase of 2,854 cases from Tuesday’s total.

There have now been 5,858 deaths linked to COVID-19 in Missouri, which up 33 from Tuesday’s total.

The state says another 5,504 Kansans have tested positive for the coronavirus since Wednesday. It brings the total since the pandemic began to 242,322.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) also says 121 more Kansans have died with COVID-19, bringing the state’s death toll to 3,148.

Also in the past two days, another 144 Kansans have been hospitalized with COVID-19.

The KDHE also is reporting 5,180 more Kansans have tested positive for the coronavirus since Friday. It brings the total since the pandemic began to 247,502.

Also since Friday, another 94 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 in Kansas.

Kansas Department of Health and Environment data shows that 889 adults were hospitalized with confirmed or suspected cases as of Tuesday, down 30% from a high of 1,282 on Dec. 2.

The state added 4,539 cases from Monday to Wednesday, making its tally 252,041 since the start of the pandemic. It reported 100 more deaths since Monday, making the total 3,355.

State health officials say 147 more Kansas deaths since Wednesday are linked to COVID-19, bringing the state’s death toll to 3,502.

Since Wednesday, 4,093 more Kansans have tested positive for the coronavirus. It brings the Kansas total since the pandemic began to 256,134.

Kansas has seen just over 3,200 new cases of COVID-19 since Wednesday, according to the state Department of Health and Environment.

Along with the 3,241 new cases, there were 23 additional deaths and 111 new hospitalizations across the state in the past two days.

The KDHE also says 2,602 more Kansans have tested positive for the coronavirus, bringing the total since the pandemic began to 269,255.

Since Friday, there have been 76 new hospitalizations in Kansas linked to COVID-19.

The number of Kansas deaths linked to COVID-19 increased by 61 since Wednesday, bringing the state’s death toll to 3,779.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) also says 2,168 more Kansans have tested positive for the coronavirus. Since the pandemic began, 274,685 Kansans have tested positive.

Also since Wednesday, 149 more Kansans were hospitalized with COVID-19.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Kansas increased by 1,983 to a total of 276,668, the state health department reported Monday afternoon.

Coronavirus deaths were reported at 3,809, an increase of 30.

Kansas has seen more than 2,200 new cases of COVID-19 in the past two days, according to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Along with the 2,247 new cases, there were 86 new deaths and 89 new hospitalizations.

There are currently 272 active clusters across the state, down from 301 a week ago.

KDHE shows 41 percent of the state ICU beds are available, and ventilators are at 83 percent availability.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment reports 206 more COVID-19-related deaths in the state since Wednesday, including a 6-year-old child.

There were also more than 2,600 new cases added and 102 more hospitalizations, according to Friday's update. To date, 4,101 Kansans have died since the pandemic began.

The KDHE says there have been 69 new hospitalizations due to COVID-19 since Friday morning.

It also says another 1,398 Kansans have tested positive for the coronavirus. Since the pandemic began, 282,960 Kansans have received a positive coronavirus test result.

Over the weekend, another 1,348 new cases were reported, bringing the state’s total since the pandemic began to 287,450.

Deaths linked to COVID-19 increased by 42, bringing the state’s death toll to 4,406.

Between Monday and Wednesday, the state of Kansas saw 1,267 new COVID-19 cases and 115 new deaths. There were also 79 new hospitalizations in that time frame.

As of this week, nearly one-third of ICU beds are available and just 9% of hospitals were anticipating staffing shortages.

Between Friday and Monday, Kansas reported just 888 new COVID-19 cases, the first time in a long while that the number dipped below 1,000 over a two-day or three-day reporting period.

Kansas also saw 29 new deaths and 32 hospitalizations since Friday. In total, there have been more than 290,000 COVID-19 cases and more than 4,600 deaths in the state.

Less than 1,000 COVID-19 cases were reported by the state of Kansas since Friday.

The state reported 883 new cases over the weekend, as well as 29 new deaths and 32 new hospitalizations – the lowest numbers have been for months.

Along with the 826 new cases, there were 11 new deaths and 60 new hospitalizations across the state in the past two days.

ICU beds are at 39 percent availability, and ventilators are at 83 percent availability.

Since the last update, another eight Kansas deaths have been linked to COVID-19. It brings the state’s death toll to 4,743.

There have been 41 new hospitalizations.

The number of coronavirus cases in Kansas has increased by 639 over the weekend. That is the smallest increase since late September. It brings the total since the pandemic began to 294,302.

The number of Kansans who have tested negative is up 4,003 since Friday.

In her briefing, the governor provided the latest COVID-19 numbers in Kansas, including 807 new positive cases and 73 deaths since Monday. There have been 295,109 cases, 9,355 hospitalizations, and 4,816 deaths in Kansas since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.
