The North Dakota Department of Health Wednesday morning confirmed 158 new cases of COVID-19 in the state during testing January 19, bringing the total positives since testing began to 96,222.

The number of currently active COVID-19 cases in the state stands at 1,177 as of January 19.

One new death was reported

A total of 1,387 people have died so far in North Dakota as a result of COVID-19.

Of those, 1,141 are directly attributable to COVID-19 according to official death records. Another 219 deaths are where COVID-19 is not the primary cause of death. A total of 26 death records are pending.

55 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 as of January 19, down 33 from January 18. A total of 3,723 people have been hospitalized since reporting began in March.

The number of currently active COVID-19 cases in the state stands at 1,169 as of January 20.

A total of 1,400 people have died so far in North Dakota as a result of COVID-19.

Of those, 1,159 are directly attributable to COVID-19 according to official death records. Another 223 deaths are where COVID-19 is not the primary cause of death. A total of 18 death records are pending.

54 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 as of January 20, down 1 from January 19. A total of 3,723 people have been hospitalized since reporting began in March.

Health officials reported 99 new COVID-19 cases statewide on Sunday, from 3,079 tests handled Saturday.

Active cases dropped again, to 1,097, including 192 in Burleigh-Morton counties.

There have been 96,817 positive COVID-19 cases in North Dakota since the onset of the pandemic in the state last March, with 94,309 recoveries, 3,741 hospitalizations and 1,411 deaths. No new deaths were reported Sunday. Current hospitalizations stood at 49.

The number of currently active COVID-19 cases in the state stands at 1,082as of January 24. That’s down 15 cases from January 23.

No new deaths were reported.

A total of 1,411 people have died so far in North Dakota as a result of COVID-19.

Of those, 1,116 are directly attributable to COVID-19 according to official death records. Another 226 deaths are where COVID-19 is not the primary cause of death. A total of 69 death records are pending.

50 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 as of January 24. A total of 3,198 people have been hospitalized since reporting began in March.

The North Dakota Department of Health Friday, Jan. 29, reported 1,073 active COVID-19 cases in the state and two additional deaths.

The state's overall pandemic death toll now stands at 1,419 North Dakotans.

Active cases in North Dakota slightly increased on Friday, with now more than 1,073 residents known to be infected with the virus. There are currently 51 COVID-19 hospitalizations.

Of those, 1,176 are directly attributable to COVID-19 according to official death records. Another 229 deaths are where COVID-19 is not the primary cause of death. A total of 15 death records are pending.

48 people are currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 as of January 29, which is lower than January 28 number (51). A total of 3,778 people have been hospitalized since reporting began in March.

The state health department reported a decrease of 28 active cases on Monday, bringing the total to 953. COVID-19 hospitalizations sit at 47, a decrease of three from the previous day.

The department says 1,422 North Dakotans have died from the illness since March. At least 846 of the state's deaths have come in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities.
