San Bernardino County reported Monday an increase of 1,372 coronavirus cases and 61 additional virus-related deaths over the weekend.

The county reported 519 coronavirus cases and 45 deaths Saturday; no increases in cases and deaths Sunday; and an increase of 853 cases and 16 deaths Monday.

As of Monday, San Bernardino County had confirmed 278,802 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began. The county's death toll is currently at 2,141.

San Bernardino County's overall number of known, active coronavirus cases is 5,337.

As of Monday, there were 828 confirmed COVID-19 patients in San Bernardino County hospitals. That's 78 fewer patients than Friday. Of those, 203 were being cared for in intensive care units — that's 31 less than Friday.

The county also reported that it had 145 ICU beds available as of Monday, which is 27 more than Friday. Health officials confirmed 36.8% of ICU beds are occupied by COVID-19 patients.

Riverside County health officials reported 137 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases and 22 additional fatalities, bringing countywide totals to 287,200 cases and 3,599 deaths.

There were 535 coronavirus patients hospitalized Thursday, 172 of whom were being treated in intensive care units

San Bernardino County health officials reported 620 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases and 35 additional fatalities, bringing countywide totals to 283,356 cases and 2,492 deaths.

There were 556 COVID-19 patients hospitalized Thursday, 143 of whom were being treated in intensive care units

In San Bernardino County another 110 people have died. 743 more people have been infected over the past two days, and more than 350 people remain hospitalized.

Riverside County reports 18 new deaths and more than 260 new cases. Hospitalizations fell to 361. Ventura County reported 10 new deaths, 240 new cases.
